Oases Botanic Gardens Receives 2025 Environmental Action Grant

Oases Botanic Gardens is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2025 Environmental Action Grant from NIPSCO and the NiSource Charitable Foundation. This regional grant program supports organizations advancing environmental education, habitat restoration, and community‑centered conservation across northern Indiana.

This funding will help us expand our ecological education programs, strengthen native habitat restoration efforts, and deepen our role as a community resource for environmental learning and stewardship.

Now in its 10th year, the grant program has provided about $700,000 in funding support for nearly 170 projects with an emphasis on environmental education and restoration across northern Indiana.

We extend our deepest thanks to Shirley Heinze Land Trust for their partnership and support. Their commitment to conservation and community has been instrumental in helping us grow our impact and secure opportunities like this one.
